For seven years, we've been building research BY Black women FOR Black women. Project SOAR Awakenings is where efficacy meets revolution.

If you’re a Black woman diagnosed with breast cancer, your voice belongs in this space, where research meets real healing. This is your last chance to pre-enroll for our February session! If eligible, you will take part in four Gatherings, which are small group, two-hour online discussions with other Black American women diagnosed with breast cancer, and are designed to promote your well-being, OR to a comparison group.

The Small Organization Sustainability Fund application is now open! Sacramento-based nonprofit arts and cultural organizations with budgets under $25,000 may apply through December 5, 2025. This program provides general operating support grants up to $5,000. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend virtual grant workshops and office hours.
