CALA represents an opportunity to bring the Highlands mission to more students in Sutter County—helping adults earn their high school diploma, access career training, and take the next step toward a brighter future.

We are proud to share a major Highlands Forward milestone: the California State Auditor has now marked all 18 audit recommendations directed to Highlands as fully implemented.

This reflects a year of serious work to strengthen systems, improve oversight, raise standards, and better serve students.

Highlands Forward is about building a stronger, more accountable, more student-centered future – and continuing to move forward with integrity, standards, and care.
