***STRUCTURE FIRE*** at 9:26 BGVFD was dispatched to a garage fire. On arrival crews found a three car garage with an interior fire. Units from BG, Barry and Emhouse worked to extinguish the fire and limit damage to the structure. No one was injured in the incident and all units are now back at the station. BGVFD is staffed by Volunteers and funded by donation.

🚒 Big News from Sadler Volunteer Fire Department! 🚒

After 12 years of waiting and hard work, our department has finally received a brand-new brush truck—the first new apparatus added to our fleet in 20 years!

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and persistence of our members, who worked tirelessly to design, apply for, and secure the grant that made this truck a reality. Their commitment to improving our response capabilities and serving the community is truly something to celebrate.

A huge thank-you to everyone who supported this effort over the years. This truck represents not just new equipment, but progress, teamwork, and the spirit of service that defines Sadler VFD.

And it made its first fire today!

***Update***
901 is open. Crews are on site completing powerline repairs.

901 is shutdown from Hwy 56 to Old Sherman Rd. 901 is also close to thru traffic from Hwy 82 to Old Sherman Rd. The powerlines are still down across 901 at Hwy 56 and there is no estimate from Oncor as to when this will be resolved.
