The library may have been closed yesterday, but Lauren, Cara, and Emily were still busy librarian bees! We moved around a great deal of books with the intent of making things easier to find. We really should have taken before pictures.. but here is how things are now:

*The middle grade (or juvenile) graphic novel section and the middle grade non-fiction section have been moved to the shelves where we previously had our YA (young adult) collection. This makes it so that the middle grade items are more integrated with each other, as they are now in the same area as middle grade fiction, wonder books, and playaways.

*Games and puzzles now live on the middle grade side of the shelves too.

*The Christian / Inspirational fiction section has been shifted and condensed to take up one side of shelving only.

*The YA collection, including graphic novels and non-fiction, has been moved to the shelves opposite the Christian / Inspirational fiction, which is also the back side of where it was, and where the middle grade section is now.

The shelves in the back where the middle grade non-fiction previously lived is still a work in progress, but we promise that there is a plan for them. Stay tuned - we will update you when progress is made!
