This is a beautiful park - it sits on 13 acres of waterfront property which the City of Safety Harbor purchased from the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa for general public use and enjoyment. The land is still in the process of being developed for residents and visitors to enjoy. Most of the park will be open space along with walking and biking trails that will wind through the mangroves! Soccer, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayaking are available here for rent. There are a lot of Art and Music events held here every year too! The open space is available for community events. There is a 1-acre piece of the park near Veteran’s Memorial Lane that has been set aside for future development.

Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with 2 great events in Safety Harbor this Saturday! 🇺🇸

July 4th Parade 🎉

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 238 will host a patriotic parade down Main Street on the morning of July 4th at 10:00. Wear your red, white, and blue and be ready for a good time.

The parade route will begin at 9th Avenue South and travel east toward the intersection at Main Street and Philippe Parkway.

July 4th Fireworks 🎆

Bring your chairs and blankets and find a spot at Waterfront Park to view the fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. Before the big event, be sure to visit your favorite Downtown restaurant to grab dinner or pick up something to go and have a picnic in the park.

Due to construction at the Pier and Marina, there will be no food or beverage vendors at the park this year. Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverages to stay hydrated.

There will be event parking at Safety Harbor Middle School with free shuttle to the event starting at 5:30 p.m.
