Friends of Roper Lake State Park is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Arizona State Parks Foundation. Our mission is to be a good steward of the land by preserving the land for generations to come, educating our visitors through education and hands-on activities, and advocating for our needs in the local and regional community. Roper Lake State Park is a gem in the south eastern desert

of Arizona. It has a 30 acre fishing & swimming lake, natural hot springs, and multiple hiking paths, as well as picnic areas and camping spaces. It's Winter in AZ. That means lots of snowbirds using the camping facilities. Although there is water running into the lake, the overall water level is the lowest I've ever seen. However, there is water, fishing, and bird watching still in full swing. Come enjoy!
