We all know that Donald Trump is going to interfere with the November elections. We know it we're prepared for it. He's going to try and intimidate people from voting and we can't let him.

We know that there's going to be a blue wave this November because almost 70% of the country disapproves of Donald Trump and what the Republicans are doing.

But we need to manage expectations.

Even if the Democrats sweep the house Donald Trump will still be president and this petty tyrant will try and punish us for taking power away from him.

If we don't have super majorities you can guarantee Donald Trump will veto everything we try and pass.

Anything to fix the economy He'll veto.

Try to stop the Iranian war or help Ukraine? Veto.

Try to hold him and his cabinet accountable for all the embezzlement and corruption? Veto.

Despite is just getting started and we have to realize that this is a long game. Until we get all of Congress and the presidency back it's gonna be struggle. And even then the Republicans are going to be leaning on John Roberts and the Maga cultists on the Supreme Court to try and stop everything else.

This is our country and we get to say what happens to it not the billionaires. But it's going to take probably three or four elections before we clear out the filth of the Trump regime from government. Before we can get Maga fascism out.

It will take voting for sane Republicans who understand that they have to fight to reclaim their own party in areas that are really red.

And it takes understanding that many places are actually purple but Democrats don't vote because they think they're not big enough to overcome the Republicans when they are. A lot of Republicans won't be able to vote this November because they've been conditioned against voting for Democrat Democrats but their Republican choices stink. They will stay home.

It is vital that every independent and democrat vote this election. Check your registrations make sure you are up-to-date and keep on top of it in case the corruption in your state tries to get rid of you.

This is our country it does not belong to the billionaires. There are more of us than there are them.

I’m happy to share this because I don’t care what side of the aisle you sit on, this is a fact.
Speaker Mike Johnson this is for you.
Concerning Social Security payments, my contributions were made for over 45 years on every salary I received. Those jobs may not have always been the work I wanted to be doing at the time, BUT I always had a job. The Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a "Federal Benefit Payment?" I'll be part of the one percent to forward this.
I am forwarding it because it touches a nerve in me, and I hope it will in you. Please keep passing it on until everyone in our country has read it.
The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a "Federal Benefit Payment." This isn't a benefit. It is our money paid out of our earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.
Congress took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn't have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them. And they didn't pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they've told us that the money won't support us for very much longer. And now, to add insult to injury, they're calling it a "benefit", as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.
Just because they borrowed the money doesn't mean that our investments were a charity!
Let's take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government.
Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.
99% of people won't cut and paste this to their timelines…..will you?
