There are over 19,000 police officers serving throughout the State of Michigan. Today, three members of the Saginaw Police Department were honored as Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) Officers of the Year.

Officers Peter Miller, Joseph Coffey, and Alex Mawer were three of only 12 officers statewide to receive this prestigious recognition at the POAM Annual Conference in Grand Rapids.

This outstanding achievement reflects their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to serving the citizens of Saginaw. Congratulations to these exceptional officers on this well-deserved honor.

Please give a like for our newest recruit, Hunter Roberts. Hunter is Saginaw born and raised and comes from a law enforcement family, following in his father's (Lt. Jeff Roberts, Bridgeport Twp. PD) footsteps. Hunter is already showing great leadership skills that he learned in the Marines, by giving the class speech at today's Delta College Police Academy Graduation. Welcome to the team, Officer Roberts!
