"We're here to clean up the city streets of Saginaw. One Week One Street is a great project, and it's hard not to want to be a part of it. This is probably my fifth year volunteering here. Change begins from the ground up, and helping our neighbors is part of being a community. Beautifying a neighborhood is common ground, something we all can agree on. It’s positive change, and being here, you can feel the energy."

One Week One Street runs every day through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can arrive at 1923 Maplewood to register to help. Volunteers receive lunch, tools, and a t-shirt.

S. WASHINGTON AVE/M-13 ROAD CLOSURE
BETWEEN EZRA RUST DR AND FEDERAL AVE
MONDAY, MAY 25TH, 2026
10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Due to a Special Event, please be advised that South Washington Avenue/M-13 will be closed from Ezra Rust Drive to Federal Avenue for the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The northbound and southbound lanes on South Washington Avenue/M-13, including the cross-street traffic, will be closed temporarily while the parade proceeds south. Please follow the detour setup that is in place.

Drivers may want to seek an alternative route to avoid traffic backups. The City of Saginaw asks drivers to please be patient while the event is in progress.
