🌟 Celebrating Our Amazing Meals on Wheels Volunteers 🌟

For years, a dedicated group of volunteers has shown up every Tuesday and Thursday to pack food bags for our Meals on Wheels program. Many of them began helping during COVID and never stopped β€” their commitment carried us through some of our most challenging times.

During these mornings together, new friendships were formed, laughter was shared, and our community grew stronger. This volunteer opportunity also opened the door for local groups to step in and support Meals on Wheels in meaningful ways.

As our program needs change, this particular volunteer role is coming to an end β€” but our appreciation for these incredible volunteers will never fade. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, reliability, and the heart they brought to every shift.

We hope they continue finding ways to support the COA, because their presence has truly made a difference.

Thank you again for everything you’ve done. I will miss your smiling faces and the wonderful conversations we shared on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. πŸ’›

A Huge Thank You to the Students of Valley Lutheran High School, Saginaw!

We were thrilled to have an amazing group of students come out and volunteer their time to help with several projects at our Eleanor Frank Senior center. Their energy, teamwork, and kindness made such a difference.

These hardworking students spent the day:

Pulling weeds and planting flowers in our garden

Creating beautiful poster boards for our upcoming Senior Picnic Day

Assisting with a variety of office projects

Their support helped brighten our spaces and prepare for important events that mean so much to our seniors.

We are grateful for their willingness to serve and for the positive impact they made in just one day. Thank you, Valley Lutheran High School β€” your students truly shine! πŸ’›
