Join us on September 18th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for Senior Day at the Zoo. Seniors 60+ enjoy free admission into the Zoo. Live music from Eva Stone and a light picnic served at Noon. RSVP for lunch by September 11th by calling SCCOA at 989-797-6880. Meal Donation: Suggested $2.25 for 60+ and $5 for guests

Saginaw County Commission on Aging partners with the Michigan Parkinson Foundation to offer a meeting space for Saginaw support group meetings.
Join them every 3rd Thursday at the Eleanor Frank Senior Center at 2355 Schust. Registration is requested, 989-793-7319 or [email protected].

Join us at our Freeland Center for our Energy Smart Seniors event and receive a free energy and water savings kit provided by Consumers Energy and the National Energy Foundation. For seniors 60+ who live in Saginaw County.

Participants will learn practical tips on energy safety, low‑cost ways to save energy and money, home energy efficiency, and available assistance programs.

To attend, please sign up by contacting Joy at 989-798-3594. Seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Please join us at a Caregivers/Kinship August meetings (6, 13, 27), at the Marie Davis Senior Center or through Zoom. Saginaw COA welcomes caregivers, and we recognize the importance and the uniqueness of each family. Our priority is to provide a place caregivers can attend with comfort while communicating in a group atmosphere. Caregivers can learn about available resources offered within the community to better support you and your loved ones.
