Eagles, it’s almost time!

The first day of the 2026–2027 school year is Monday, August 31, and we can’t wait to welcome our Eagles back! Please remember that Monday is a full day of school!

First Day Schedule — Monday, August 31

Doors open: 7:30am

School hours: 8:00am-3:15pm

Beginning Wednesday, September 2

Doors open: 7:30am

Breakfast starts: 7:45am

School hours: 8:00am-3:15pm

We Want to See Your First-Day Photos!

We’ve created a new First Day of School 2026–2027 sign featuring our Eagle, and we’d love to see our scholars with it!

Save the attached sign and print it for your child to hold in their first-day photo.

No printer? No problem! Save the sign to your phone or computer and add it to the first-day picture you take. You can also pick up copies of the picture in the front office on the first day.

Then email your photo to [email protected] with your child’s first name, and we will feature it on our school page.

Whether it’s a very first day of school, the start of their 8th grade year or somewhere in between, we’re excited to have our Eagles back together.

It’s a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅🎉

🎒✨ Back-to-School Recap at North Saginaw! ✨🎒

What a fun-filled start to the school year! 💙 From completing registration paperwork and meeting our amazing teachers to sports sign-ups, our book fair, face painting, the game bus, and an EPIC foam party—we packed in plenty of smiles and memories! 📚🎨🏀🚌🫧

We look forward to seeing you soon! Open house is 9a-11a this morning and 4p-6p this evening! Collect your GoTime cards, learn about busing, visit the book fair, meet the admin team and teachers, and learn about various clubs and sports we have at NSCA.

We look forward to welcoming our NSCA Eagles back tomorrow for our 26-27 Open House. We have 2 sessions: 9a-11a and 4p-6p. We will have stations set up for everyone to visit. ALL NSCA scholars will receive 4 free books at the book fair (located outside by the playground). We will have transportation tables for busing and GoTime on the sidewalk in front of the playground. We will have sporting information in the front hallway of the school. There will then be a time to meet the dean as you are walking around, and you will get to meet me, Principal Greiner, at the first station as you are checking in. ALL paperwork must be completed in order for you to receive your entry pass for Open House. Please be sure to check your Parent Portal for any forms that are incomplete. We are in the office until 4:00pm today if you have any questions or need assistance.
