At White Pine Middle School, Learning Community 7-2 (7th grade) participated in team building activities during the first few days of school. These relationship builders included a water balloon toss, building cup pyramids, stacking bolts with chopsticks, and a head, shoulders, knees, and markers challenge!

Our Heritage Hawks football team took the field at one of the most iconic venues in all of college football, bringing their hard work, determination and Hawk pride with them. While the Hawks came up short on the scoreboard, they walked away with something that goes far beyond a final score: an unforgettable experience they will carry with them for years to come.
And they weren't alone! Our incredible Heritage band, cheerleaders and student section were there to add their energy and school spirit, helping make the day even more special.
To our football players, coaches, band members, directors, families and fans, thank you for representing Heritage High School and Saginaw Township Community Schools with pride!

If you are attending the Heritage Battle at the Big House game at U of M stadium this Saturday, here is some important information (please note that Heritage is the Away team):

Parking will be $15 CASH ONLY
Tickets bought at the gate will be $15 CASH ONLY

Parking Notes:
Payment methods may vary depending on the lot. Some lots are operated by Michigan staff, while parking at Ann Arbor High School is managed separately. We’ve been told that Michigan lots, such as the Blue Lot, may require cash, while Ann Arbor High School parking may require a card.
Since we are not managing the parking, options may also vary when you arrive. We recommend bringing both cash and a card, just in case.

A beautiful, sunny morning greeted our STCS families as we kicked off a brand-new school year! There were plenty of smiles, excited hugs and a few tears from both Kindergarten parents and kids as they said goodbye, but it didn’t take long for everyone to settle in and get into the rhythm of the day.
Our schools are once again filled with laughter, learning and the energy that comes with a new beginning. We loved seeing our students walk through the doors and watching those first-day nerves quickly turn into smiles.
Here’s to an amazing school year ahead! Welcome back, STCS!

Before the sun comes up, the work will have already begun. A bus driver will start a route in Saginaw Township. A cafeteria worker will prepare breakfast. A custodian will unlock the doors to our school buildings. A brand new teacher will arrive early with the excitement of a new journey. An assistant will prepare to support a child who needs them. A counselor will get ready to listen.
Thousands of families will send their most precious people through our doors for a new school year. On every bus, in every classroom and standing at every school door is a person who cares deeply about our children. A community of people who show up each day to help our students be supported, known and ready to learn.
