Wolfarth House Landmark Home Built in 1893 by Frank J. Wolfarth, he owned and operated the largest steam bakery north of Detroit. Restored and Owned by - Kevin Rooker and Bill Ostash

Located in the Cathedral District, part of the Central City Historic District. Restoration Projects Over the Years:

- 2016
* Second Floor Bath Renovation
* Remove wall to expand room area
* New period gaslamp replication lighting
* New claw foot tub
* Shower ring and faucet in chrome
* New sink
* New second sink adjacent to the existing
* New toilet
* New heated tile floor

* New subway tile for tub area
* New bead board wainscoting
* First Floor butler's pantry finish drywall and paint
* Sealed off the old steam pipes
- Cover the ceiling one by lowering ceiling 4"
- Covered the wall ones with oak and wainscot to blend in with
existing decor and wood
* Restore the china cabinet
* New coat of shellac on all woodwork

- 2017
* Third Floor finish wood trim work
* Build bar in the butlers pantry

- 2018
* New Kitchen Countertops and backsplash
* Restore the back entry and steps to the basement
* Restored flooring
* Painted the wall
* Added screen door
* Replace wood door to the basement with spare we have
* Sand the plaster patched and paint

- (PENDING) Third Floor office and sitting area
* Remove carpet and restore the old wood floor. This was an
inspiration after see the Rehab Addict Nicole Curtis do it on her
show.

Frank Wolfarth, who operated the "Wolfarth Bakery" was inducted to the "Sagianw Hall of Fame" last night.
What an honor and we will proudly display this plaque in the library of the home with all our it other awards.
We were joined at the event by the great granddaughter Rachel Walsh and her husband Michael Chapman.
Kevin, my husband did a wonderful presentation of Frank, the bakery and some of the home.
