Happy Father’s Day!

My dad has been my role model for as long as I can remember. Having a great father is a blessing I will never take for granted.

Dads, grandfathers, and father figures are essential, and that reality brings up complicated feelings for many on Father’s Day. I’m praying for those who never had a father in their lives and for those whose fathers have passed away.

It was an honor to participate in Kirk in the Hills’ annual Protecting Children Together breakfast. Sheriff Bouchard, interfaith leaders, and community nonprofits were united to protect children in our state, our country, and the world.

Happy to serve the people of District 54!

Our team volunteered to distribute water on Tuesday. Every single Orion resident who came by was incredibly kind, thankful, and understanding. I’m very proud to have grown up in such a resilient community!

As most of you are aware, there is a massive issue with the water main in Orion and Auburn Hills. For updates on the situation, please refer to the Great Lakes Water Authority, Orion government, and Auburn Hills government.

Thank you to Mayor Hawkins for your decisive action in response to this crisis.

💧⚠️5/10, CRITICAL UPDATE - It is essential that the residents of Orion Township, the Village of Lake Orion, Rochester Hills, and Auburn Hills to restrict their water usage to only what is necessary for hydration, food preparation and basic sanitation for the duration of the emergency.
