Last night was a bit of an upgrade for us. Your Carrollton Firefighters decided it was time to replace our old hose, with sections having to be put out of service and / or discarded. We upgrade to Mercedes hose line. Though its significantly lighter and easier to manage everyone who came down to help load Quint 4 certainly broke a sweat trying to get it all on there. We would like to Thank everyone that came down last night to lend a hand loading, completing a truck check, and making a quick fuel run.

Over the weekend we had a picnic at the VFW Hall for the families of the fire department. A little way to get everyone together so we could get to know each other a bit better and know who everyone goes home to after calls or trainings or whatever life may throw at us. The day way sponsored by a few local businesses for food, venue and some cool prizes.
We would like to thank all the businesses who donated for all of us.

As a heads up to the community, the Carrollton Township Fire Department will be conducting hose testing in the CHS Stadium parking lot throughout the day TODAY, August 5, 2026.

This is strictly routine testing, and there is no danger or emergency occurring at CHS.

A quick reminder from your Carrollton Township fire department for this upcoming weekend. If you are grilling or lighting fireworks, be mindful of the heat and your environment being dry. Some more career development from your Carrollton Firefighters today. We traveled with Kochville Fire Department to Oakland Community College for active fire simulators. We had the opportunity to go through multiple drills practice new tactic and strategies and get the opportunity to work with our mutual aid partners as well as instructors from Oakland to learn different ways to approach situation.

A little career development today for a few of our firefighters. Taking the time to attend the Step Up and Lead seminar with Chief Frank Viscuso from New Jersey. It was an amazing learning opportunity and gave everyone some ideas to take home. On behalf of Carrollton Township Fire Department we would like to Thank Viscuso for coming out and sharing his stories and lessons with us today.

Today May 4th is National Firefighter Day. In honor of that we would like to give give a huge thank you to all current and former firefighters
