It's been a few weeks since our Summer Reading Program wrapped up, but we have one more surprise to share!

Children and teens who finished this year's program were entered in a drawing to win a Detroit Lions surprise - and Detroit Lions generously surprised our patrons with tickets to the preseason game last Saturday at Ford Field! Overall, we were able to send 63 people to the game - some of the families graciously shared their snapshots of the day.

Congratulations to the winners, and a special thanks to the Detroit Lions and the Library of Michigan for setting up this incredible prize!

Crafty Kids Hour is back at Zauel Library! Each month on the first Wednesday of the month we'll put out all kinds of craft supplies so you can create to your heart's content. Join us on Wednesday, September 2 at 6:30 pm for fun back to school crafts and more!

Good morning Saginaw! Here's where you can find your Bookmobile this week. Only two circulation stops, but a load of events as we get ready for the school year.
Kempton Elementary is having their Orientation on Tuesday, Light Up the City is on Ojibway Island this Wednesday, Saginaw Preparatory Academy has their Open House this Thursday. Lastly, this Saturday is the Neighbor Day Block Party!

Our patrons must have been hungry when they came to the library today, because we definitely had a food vibe happening at our Squish and Create playdough club today! We have two more weeks of this summer program. Will you join us next Tuesday at 11 at Butman-Fish?
