Sahuarita Lake Park

Sahuarita Lake Park Sahuarita Lake Park is a 15-acre park. The lake is part of the Urban Fishing Program. The lake is not for swimming.

Surrounding the lake is a mile-long trail with fitness stations, picnic areas, benches, an amphitheater and public restrooms. No gas-powered engines are allowed - small watercraft only. Parks Maintenance Open House
8:00 am - 10:00 am, July 17, 2021.
Anamax Park-Maintenance yard.
Visit behind-the-scenes maintenance areas and equipment. Experience newly installed park amenities including disc golf, pollinator garden, and nature trail.
Free for all ages.

North Santa Cruz Park soccer fields will be closed for maintenance starting July 5, 2021, and will reopen on August 23, 2021. The Baseball field will be closed July 5, 2021, and will reopen on August 1, 2021.

Sahuarita Lake South parking lot will be closed for The Town of Sahuarita Red, White, and Boom 4th of July event. The closure will begin Thursday, July 1, 2021 and the parking lot will reopen Sunday, July 4, 2021.

Sahuarita Lake Park Southeast parking lot will be closed Wednesday May 19- Friday May 21, 2021. Please use Southwest parking lot and continue to enjoy the park.

Construction on the Sahuarita Lake Park Bridge project will continue for the next several weeks. Sidewalks and landscaping are next.

Construction on Pedestrian Bridge at Sahuarita Lake Park begins Tuesday April 13, 2021. The south lawn at Sahuarita Lake Park is closed to the public. Please use caution while continuing to enjoy the park.

Sahuarita Lake Park is experiencing a small algae bloom. The lake has been treated and is safe for fishing. The yellow color is due to sycamore tree seed pods falling in the lake and attaching to the algae. Park staff and Lake Management company are closely monitoring the lake.
