Welcome to Swim Team!
Dear Swim Team Families,
Welcome to the 2026 St. Albans Sharks Summer swim season! We are excited to have your family as part of the team and look forward to a fun, encouraging, and successful summer. Our goal is to help every swimmer grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while making great memories along the way. Please review the important dates below and keep them handy throughout the season.
Important Dates
• Registration deadline: June 5, 2026
• Mock Meet: June 18 at 6pm at Hard’ack Pool.
• First practice: June 22, 2026
• Team photos: Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at practice.
• Leagues: July 24-25, 2026, in Vergennes
• States send-off breakfast: July 30, 2026 at the pool at practice.
• States: August 1-2, 2026 at UVAC in White River
We are excited to be participating in a fund raiser this year that will allow the swimmers to earn funds for the team by swimming laps. The date is TBA. More information coming soon!
The meet schedule will be released from the league very soon and we will send it out to families and post it on the webpage as soon as we receive it.
Also Note: Families are expected to volunteer at each meet – both home and away. There are all kinds of ways to help out, and they do not require swim knowledge.
If you are unable or do not want to volunteer, there is a $300 opt out fee. You can contact Kelly in the recreation office at 802-524-1971 to make that arrangement.
