Congratulations to the Bellows Free Academy Comets and Missisquoi Thunderbirds on making it to the Division 1 & 2 State Softball Championships.

As much as we'd like to bring you coverage of the title games, the cross scheduling of graduations makes it difficult for our staff to attend in Castleton. We apologize for the inconvenience as we know how much our community enjoys the local coverage.

We wish both teams luck and hope they can bring home another couple titles to Franklin County! 🏆🏆

🍁FIELD DAYS CANCELED🍁

The Franklin County Field Days organizers have decided not to go forward with plans to hold the event this summer at the proposed location. In the most recent Swanton Development Review Board meeting, the organizers and the board discuss different ideas and possible pitfalls related to that location for the beloved yearly event.

Our staff is finalizing logistics and equipment for the highly anticipated graduation season. We've got a dozen graduations to cover and we're excited to bring you all the sights and sounds!

The four high schools and Vermont Adult Learning will be live streamed for family and friends that can not attend. Elementary & Middle School celebrations will be posted to YouTube afterwards.

Out of the many services we provide at NWA-TV, one exciting new venture we've been working on with local authors is audio book creation. Author DonnaRae Menard is in the process of dictating her entire cozy murder mystery book, Snuffling Up Bones, into an audiobook that she can distribute.
