It was reported that the person sustaining a gunshot wound was tranported to the Northwestern Medical Center by a private vehicle.

Officers of St. Albans Police Department Patrol Division and Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to investigate this incident, receiving assistance from the Swanton Village Police Department and the Vermont State Police. St. Albans Police located the person who had sustained a gunshot wound, as well as a person of interest and witnesses to the event at separate locations in St. Albans.

The gunshot wound(s) sustained by a single subject in this incident resulted in minor injuries for which the subject was treated by staff at the Northwestern Medical Center before being released.
