for meals. Sunday "Grab & Go" Available 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Accepting donations every Day
from 9 am - 1 pm

Martha’s Kitchen was established in 1984 and for over 40 years we have been supported by local churches, businesses and families. In 2015 we served 18,253 meals with the help of volunteers offering over 7,700 hours of community service. In 2025 we served 54.776 meals! (In the year 2000, we served just over 9,000 meals.) Join Our Soup Kitchen Volunteer Team!

We’re looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help us serve warm meals and kindness to our community. If you can follow directions well and enjoy working with others, we’d love to have you on our team!

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with meal prep, serving, and cleaning.
• Work alongside a friendly, supportive team.
• Serving guests in dignified and effective ways.
• Help create a welcoming environment for our guests.

What We’re Looking For:
• Ability to listen carefully and follow guidance from team leaders.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Reliability and a positive attitude.
• Offer a minimum of one shift per week. 9 a.m. – 1: 15 p.m.

Anyone who has worked in kitchens knows this service is far from easy. So being part of our team requires someone who can follow direction well while staying focused on the tasks at hand.

Donna and her team are planning another great Event for this coming Saturday!

The annual Empty Bowls event for Martha's Community Kitchen is just around the corner!
Soup choices are being planned, and local potters are busy making bowls.

*** Once again, this year's event will be held at St Paul's Methodist Church on Saturday, May 9th from 4 - 6:30pm.

Bring family and friends to help us celebrate our 11th annual event.
