Attention all Holman Middle School Pirates families! Get ready for the upcoming school year and save some money. The Missouri Back-to-School Tax-Free Weekend is here, running from this Friday, August 7th, through Sunday, August 9th.

This is the perfect opportunity to purchase your essential school supplies, new clothes, and even qualified electronic devices, all without paying state and local sales tax. Congratulations to the Holman 8th grade and their 1 / Superior rating at the Six Flags music festival. The band prepared two songs for evaluation by three judges, two of which were college professors. This is the highest rating a group can earn at the music festival. Out of 17 groups, only four received a 1 rating, one of which was a high school band. Students also got to spend time riding rides and making memories with friends. A big thank you to the parent chaperones that attended the trip and Pattonville transportation for driving us.
