St. Ansgar City Hall The Garden Spot of Iowa. This will be a resource for everyone to use to be updated on what is going on at City Hall.

We will be notifying people of what is going on with all of the departments, police, street, and water. We also want to share the unique features our community has to offer. Please use this as a positive platform, and not one to voice opinions or to criticize the employees.

Here is a map that shows in yellow where golf carts and UTV's are allowed to park for the games. The red area is where they are not allowed. There are a lot of children running around and playing in this area and this is for their protection. Thanks for understanding and making this a fun, safe area for our children!!

The City has posted this before, but apparently it needs to be posted again.
No Golf Carts or UTV’s are to be driven up by the Park and Rec. Ball Diamonds.
Also, unless you have a Service Animal, keep your pets at home .
What that means is No Pets at the Ball Diamonds.

Please make sure to clean up after your pets. There have been many complaints about animal droppings not being picked up on private property and City Property. If you have a pet be a responsible pet owner.

The sirens in St. Ansgar are currently not functioning for fire or weather emergencies.
We are working on getting this fixed.
Law enforcement and fire will run sirens if needed to alert the public.
Please remember this:
Tornado sirens are Outdoor Emergency Alerts, not inside.
There are many alerts throughout the day that warn people of potential severe weather.
Mitchell County Alerts did send out information.
People need to be responsible and monitor weather conditions on their own.
The City is working on getting the sirens fixed with the company that services the sirens.
