We Are Still Here Minnesota

We Are Still Here Minnesota Objective: Change harmful narratives about Indigenous People in our region partnering in (4) key areas

Our mission is to spotlight and make visible the lives and contributions of Native American peoples and their governments in Minnesota today because we are still here. We will do this by challenging and correcting false narratives, replacing fiction with facts in K-12 Education and finding solutions for issues impacting the Native American community. We will braid together the strengths of establi

shed networks of Native American people and organizations focusing on Governance & Policy, K-12 Education, Pop Culture & Media and Philanthropy to uplift Native American lives. Vision
We will be leaders in movements to challenge all systems of oppression and dominant ideals that have devalued our authentic history and rights as Sovereign Nations and that has led to profound historic oppression of Native Americans. We are united in our commitment to Native American community members and their allies to lead towards positive and progressive change.

American Indian Birth Center - We need a survey response!
On behalf of the team of consultants working to plan the American Indian Birthing Center with the Birth Justice Collaborative, I invite you to fill out and share this survey widely. Please share with your email list serves, groups of folks, and individuals who may utilize these services in the future, have capacity to share with folks who may benefit from these services, and are able to take the short online survey capturing community voices.

We encourage you to take the survey, pass it along via email, social media, text, as well as through word of mouth to capture as many voices from the community as possible. The development of this survey will foster connections with community members as well as receiving community input as we design and form an implementation plan for the future of the American Indian Birth Center in the urban-Twin Cities area.
