​Yesterday, the St. Johns County Young Republicans joined our community at the St. Augustine National Cemetery for a solemn Memorial Day Ceremony. Lt. Gov. Jay Collins gave a stirring address, reminding us that true remembrance requires responsibility—otherwise, it is simply ceremony.

​As Young Republicans, we take that responsibility to heart. May we never cease in our commitment to protect and defend the freedom they died to secure.
