We extend our sincere appreciation to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, St. Augustine Fire Department, and Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Police Department for helping make this birthday parade a memorable event. Heads up for Sunday evening traffic in downtown St. Augustine. 🚧

Beginning around 5:00pm on Sunday, May 24, temporary rolling road closures will take place for a religious procession traveling from Mission Nombre de Dios to the Cathedral Basilica along the Bayfront.

Drivers can expect temporary delays on:
• San Marco Avenue
• South Castillo Drive
• Avenida Menendez
• Cathedral Place and nearby downtown routes

King Street will temporarily operate as a two-way street while the procession moves through the area.

If you’ll be downtown Sunday evening, please allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes when possible. The closures are temporary and will reopen as participants safely clear the roadway.
