Shop with purpose and support survivors in our community.

Please join us on Friday, October 23rd, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. at Lilly Pulitzer, 4812 River City Drive, Suite 101, at St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville.

Ten percent of event proceeds will benefit Betty Griffin Center and the survivors we serve. We’re grateful for this generous support during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Two causes. One community united in support of survivors.

Thank you to Pink Teacup Events for inviting Betty Griffin Center Event Coordinator Carole Sullivan to Brunch & Bloom: Walking in My Healed Era on Saturday, October 17th, at the W.E. Harris Community Center in Hastings.

The event brought the community together for a walk followed by brunch in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

One of the most meaningful moments was hearing from survivors of domestic violence and breast cancer who courageously shared their personal experiences. We appreciate the organizers for creating a welcoming space for awareness, encouragement, and connection.

Thank you to the St. Johns County Commission for their proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Join the Betty Griffin Center for SouthState Bank's Trunk or Treat!

We invite you to join us for a fun-filled event on Saturday, October 24th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 1740 SR 207, St. Augustine 32086.

SouthState has partnered with local businesses and community heroes to host this FREE event for families in our community. Activities will include face painting, games, food, treats, and various festivities!

Additionally, there will be vendors on-site offering items for purchase. We hope to see you there!

Join Betty Griffin Center for a day of family fun at the 30th Annual Ancient City Kids Day!

Bring the family to Francis Field, 25 W. Castillo Dr., St. Augustine, on Saturday, October 24th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for this free community celebration.

With more than 50 youth service organizations participating, there will be plenty to keep the kids entertained, including games, crafts, bounce houses, contests, giveaways, and live entertainment. Children can also enjoy free T-shirts and goody bags while supplies last.

Parents can explore valuable community programs and resources while the kids enjoy the festivities.

Be sure to stop by the Betty Griffin Center booth to say hello, meet our team, and learn more about the services we provide to families in our community. We'd love to see you!

Another show of support for Domestic Violence Awareness Month!

Thank you to the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners for officially proclaiming October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and recognizing the importance of supporting survivors and working toward a community free from abuse.

Betty Griffin Center staff and board members gathered for a photo in the rotunda with the proclamation, reaffirming our commitment to providing safety, support, and hope to survivors of domestic and s*xual violence.

An important film. A meaningful conversation about domestic violence.

Thank you to the St. Augustine Film Society for presenting a free screening of “Telling Amy’s Story” on Wednesday, October 14th, at The Waterworks in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The powerful documentary explores the warning signs of domestic violence and how quickly abuse can escalate. Following the screening, attendees had an opportunity to discuss the film, ask questions, and learn more about the resources available to survivors.

We appreciate our Betty Griffin Center team for participating in the discussion and everyone who attended and helped make the evening possible.

Conversations like these help raise awareness, encourage understanding, and remind survivors that support is available.

A $5,500 gift that will make a difference for survivors!

Betty Griffin Center Special Events Coordinator Carole Sullivan recently accepted a check for $5,500 from Momentum Fit, representing proceeds from the inaugural Miles That Matter 5K!

We are incredibly grateful to Momentum Fit for organizing this event and bringing the community together in support of survivors of domestic violence and s*xual assault.

A special thank you to the sponsors, vendors, volunteers, runners, and walkers who helped make this first-year event such a success. Your participation and generosity will help us continue providing essential services to survivors and their minor children.

What a wonderful afternoon of fun, generosity, and community support at our sold-out Betty Griffin Center Quarter Auction!

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, placed bids, donated auction items, and helped make this year's event a success.
