“Awareness without action is just entertainment.”

Last night, KES had the privilege of hosting our second Behind the Screen: Keeping Kids Safe Online event.

The presentation was led by one of our very own KES parents, Jennifer Dutton, who works closely with the Tristyn Bailey Strong Foundation, alongside Sgt. Chris Mobley of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. Together, they provided valuable insight, practical steps, and important reminders about the role we all play in protecting our children online.

A special thank you to Phases of Healing, Counseling and Therapy LLC and Bronx House Pizza who graciously provided refreshments for the both the parents and children. We would also like to thank the additional staff who helped stay late after their regular working hours to help! We really appreciate all that you do for Ketterlinus!

As parents, educators, and members of the same community, we have the opportunity to stay informed, have difficult conversations, set boundaries, and keep the lines of communication open with our children.

Because awareness is only the beginning. What we do with that awareness matters.

Together, we can create safer digital spaces for our kids—through awareness, education, action, and open dialogue at home and at school. 💙🐬

Somehow August 4th feels like a lifetime ago… 😂 Back-to-school season has been **BUSY**, but we couldn’t let this one go unshared! 💙🐬

We kicked off planning week by welcoming our amazing Ketterlinus teachers and staff back with a delicious breakfast from Cafe Eleven! 🍳☕️

A huge thank you to our incredible PTO volunteers who showed up bright and early to decorate, serve, and help us give our staff the warm welcome back they deserve. We are so grateful for this community and everyone who helps us make KES such a special place.

The year may already be moving a mile a minute, but we loved starting it together! 🌊💙

Tomorrow is Flagler College Move-In Day, which means downtown St. Augustine may be a little busier than usual! 📦🏫

If your morning route takes you through downtown, we recommend budgeting a little extra time for drop-off in case of traffic or delays.

🚨 Traffic Alert for Friday, Aug. 21: Flagler College Move-In will bring increased traffic and activity to the area. Valencia Street will be closed from Markland Place to Cordova Street from 6:30AM - 5PM. Please plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
