Our team recently attended the Who is Jay Mental Health Symposium, hosted as part of the SMA Healthcare Foundation in Volusia County.

The event brought together more than 350 mental and behavioral health professionals from across the state to promote su***de prevention, mental health education and community awareness.

During the symposium, our team shared information about the BRAVE program and connected with others who are passionate about expanding access to mental health resources and support.

Thank you to the SMA Healthcare Foundation for hosting such an impactful event and for bringing together organizations committed to improving mental health care in our communities.

Our Youth Leadership St. Johns 2025–2026 cohort celebrated their graduation in April. Students were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the program. Each participant shared a one-minute reflection, highlighting what they gained from the experience and how they plan to apply those lessons moving forward. We are incredibly grateful for this cohort and the dedication they demonstrated throughout each program day.

We would also like to recognize Emmett Rodney of St. Augustine High School, who was honored with the peer-nominated Leader Among Leaders Award for his exemplary leadership and positive impact throughout the program year.

Our Mobile Outreach Team and Community Health Associates attended the Community Baby Shower hosted by the Florida Department of Health (DOH), connecting with local families and providing access to important medical services and resources.

Events like this bring the community together to support new and expecting parents with education, care and essential resources for a healthy start. From safe sleep and car seat safety to community support services, the event focused on helping families feel informed and supported.

We are proud to be part of initiatives that make care more accessible right where it is needed most.

Thank you to the more than 2,800 high school students from 30 counties, including 24 in Florida, five in Georgia and one in Alabama, who registered for the sixth annual BRAVE Summit hosted by UF Health St. Johns at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

The mission of BRAVE is to ensure teens have access to resources and feel comfortable having conversations about mental health. With the support of more than 60 agencies from our community and nearby areas, students were able to learn about free and accessible care options available to them.

We hope every student feels encouraged to reach out if they ever need support and knows they are not alone.

Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, staff and volunteers for helping make this event possible.
