Jr. Art Club Has Been Busy Creating!

Jr. Art Club students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade have created a beautiful, colorful hallway installation inspired by famous glass artist Dale Chihuly!

Chihuly is known for his amazing, larger-than-life glass sculptures filled with bright colors and flowing, organic shapes. His artwork can be found in museums and gardens around the world!

These young artists used permanent markers to decorate clear plastic plates, which were then carefully heated and shaped by their art teacher to resemble blown glass. Each unique piece came together to create one amazing collaborative masterpiece!

The Character Counts Trophy has been on the move!
From Ms Tanner: I am so excited to pass the Character Counts Trophy to Mrs. K! Mrs. K always has a smile on her face and is so warm and welcoming to everyone around her. She has a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, and her positive attitude is truly contagious!

She is always willing to lend a helping hand, encourage those around her, and spread kindness wherever she goes. Mrs. K reminds me that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. We are so lucky to have someone who brings so much joy and positivity to our school community!

Mrs. K, thank you for showing us what it means to CARE!
