Anastasia State Park Anastasia State Park welcomes visitors to enjoy nearly 1600 acres of rich and diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Anastasia was acquired in 1949.

Anastasia State Park has nearly 1,600 acres of unspoiled beaches, tidal marshes, maritime hammocks, and ancient sand dunes, making it a captivating destination for visitors and campers. Relax in the shady hammock, kayak in the beautiful salt marsh, or swim in the Atlantic Ocean. We have 6 distinct natural communities within our park including the sand dunes, maritime hammock, and estuarine tidal m

arsh. While visiting, you may see various shore and marsh birds including the rosette spoonbill, great blue heron, and royal terns. You may also glimpse dolphins, lizards, butterflies, gopher tortoise, and raccoons. Some of our more elusive animals include the Anastasia Island Beach Mouse and nesting sea turtles.
