CCSO detectives are investigating a suspicious incident in which a middle-school student was approached by a stranger at her bus stop.

CCSO is releasing this composite image of the man.

The student was at her bus stop on Isles of Capri at around 7 am. Tuesday. A man she did not know pulled up in a vehicle and told the girl her mother asked him to pick her up and take her to school. The man drove away when the school bus pulled up.

The man is described as approximately 60-70 years old, black hair, with two visible scars on his face. The man has a tattoo on his upper right arm, and was last seen wearing a red polo shirt.

The vehicle is described as an older model, powder blue SUV, with a Minnesota license plate. The vehicle has a heart shaped sticker on the back of it that says “I [heart] Minnesota”, and had purple dice hanging from the rearview mirror.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300.

Call FDLE for updates and statements. Your coverage of this incident is only helping to drive the false narrative that the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Florida has something to hide and you wonder why people don’t trust journalism.

SPECIAL NOTE: This is regarding Connor Robertson, an 11-year-old male who was first reported missing yesterday (April 12, 2022) and was found later that night. This is being re-posted with new information since Connor has gone missing again today (April 13, 2022).

Connor Robertson is 11 years old. He stands around 5'0 and weighs around 130 pounds. He has blonde hair and green eyes.

Connor was last seen around 3:30 p.m. today (April 13, 2022) leaving 547 Walker Avenue. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
