Just imagine what 409 of plastic must look like.....that is how much plastic was collected on Tuesday by the St. Charles Kiwanis plastics team. That is 409 kept out of the landfill. Thanks, community, for being so mindful of plastic waste.

St. Charles warmly welcomed Jeff Hunt, director of the St. Charles Singers, to our meeting. What delightful pictures of their recent tour in Italy. They will be performing locally in the coming months-don't miss the opportunity to hear this outstanding group!
Peanut Jr. let us know that we have surpassed our peanut sales goals-and that donations continue to come in. Monies are always applied to grants for local groups-thanks to our community for the support!
Scarecrow Festival was a success-great to serve as face painters. We delivered peanuts to another hardworking group of first responders-the Kane County Polce Headquarters. Thanks for all you do!

Also, Jewel Osco in Elburn is one of our partners in plastic collection-thanks for always being our conduit between the community and Trex manufacturing. Your willingness to work with us is always appreciated.

A new Kiwanis year begins! The award-winning kazoo band wished our October babies a very happy birthday. Our very own honorary member, Pam Otto, taught us all about the busy ecosystem along the banks of the Fox River. And Peanut Jr. reminded us all that "peanuts live on"....his dentist is our newest supporter!
We enjoy our time together-often, we work! Sometimes we play! But we always support kids and serve them in any way possible. Join us as we begin another year full of opportunities to care for the children in our community and in our world.

Welcome to St. Charles Kiwanis, Kathleen! We are excited to work alongside of you as we serve the children of the world!
A perfect day-a new member plus the opportunity to award grants to three fine organizations who care for kids. Joe and Kaitlyn from Campton Township Open Space Foundation, Kristy and Emily from Western Dupage Special Recreation Association and Dan from Kane County Young Life....thank you for all you do! We are proud to be your co-workers here in the Fox Valley.
Almost time to begin a new fiscal Kiwanis year-thanks, President David for your leadership. Our work continues-and it is always our pleasure and responsibility to serve the chiuldren of the world, one child and one community at a time.
