Kane County Coroner, Dr. Monica Silva, and the staff of the Kane County Coroner’s Office extend our deepest condolences to the Chicago Police Department, the family of Officer John Bartholomew, and all those affected by this tragic loss.

We also keep the injured officer and their loved ones in our thoughts as they continue to recover.

We honor Officer Bartholomew’s service, dedication, and sacrifice made in the line of duty while protecting his community.
