Over the weekend, the company was fortunate to participate in a wide variety of training, teaching many firemen necessary skills for the fire ground.

Yesterday, both Engines travelled along with West End of Pottsville & Liberty of Schuylkill Haven to the County Fire School to rotate through various stations including hoselines, VES, and roof operations. The night was finished off with a firehouse family dinner with about 20 members in attendance sharing camaraderie.

This morning, Engine 6212 travelled down to Schuylkill Haven to join in a Water Movement training which taught valuable information regarding tanker fill sites, “Rural Hitch”, and dump tank operations.

A tremendous thank you to West End and Liberty for helping make this weekend happen.

Over the past week, members have been staying productive. Tuesday night, both Engines travelled out to the Yorkville Block Party while throughout the week, also responding to some incidents.

Friday night was spent putting in some hard work around Columbia as members power washed the bay floors and gave the firehouse a much-needed cleanup.

Saturday morning wrapped up the busy week with members coming together for a kickball tournament supporting the Saint Clair School, bringing plenty of fun, despite being first round exits. 👎

From answering calls to maintaining the station and enjoying time together as a crew, it was a great week of service and brotherhood.
