St. Augusta Voters - Early Voting Starts Today for the 2026 Primary!
Starting Tuesday, August 4th, eligible voters in the City of St. Augusta can vote early at City Hall during business hours through Monday, August 10th. Election judges are here to serve you now! Curious about what is on the ballot? Go to mnvotes.gov to find your sample ballot, check your voter registration and confirm your precinct location. Primary Election day is Tuesday, August 11th and the St. Augusta precinct will be open for voting from 7am-8pm that day.

St. Augusta's National Night Out - Tuesday, August 4th - 4-8pm!
Join us for this year's event hosted at the St. Augusta Fire Station - 23415 43rd Ave, St. Augusta. Firefighters will be there serving hotdogs, chips and cookies. There will be a kid's bounce house, water-ball, ambulance and sheriff, along with a possible visit from the Life Link Helicopter. The City Council will also host their monthly meeting in the station at 7:00pm. Come on out and enjoy an evening with your St. Augusta neighbors!

Road Project Update - 072926
Crews working on this year's Gaberdine/238th/240th project are making progress. The base course of pavement for the road and the trail are now complete. Additional pedestrian ramps and trail connection work are scheduled to be completed later this week. Over the next couple of weeks they will be completing right-of-way restoration work, mailbox installs, etc, with the remaining wear course of additional pavement on the roadway tentatively planned to occur the week of August 11th. All timelines are tentative and depend on weather and progress of other prep items. Please remember to drive carefully through the area as work continues and this remains an active construction zone.

Road Project Update - 070926
Council received an update from the City Engineer this week on progress of the Gaberdine/238th/240th road project. Subgrade soil corrections have now been made, some gas service lines relocated by the utility, and gravel is going down in preparation for pavement soon. Concrete work has started this week with replacement of some of the driveway aprons. Crews are hopeful pavement may be able to start in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again to everyone for your patience while the area is under construction!

Road Project Update - 061826
Work on the subgrade for the Gaberdine/238th/240th project including disking, drying and other prep items have been occurring this week and will continue through next week. At this stage, the project is still moving forward towards the goal for pavement perhaps by mid-July. This schedule with depend on continuing good weather and good progress of phases of the project. We will keep you posted! Please reach out to City Hall with any questions.

Road Project Update - 060326
A portion of 238th will be closed during this next phase of the road project to repair some subgrade that needs soil corrections. One of the images below is a basic map which shows where signs are already up on the west and east ends of the project area directing through traffic to take other routes, and a section of 238th Ave in the middle where there will be a new temporary full closure allowing no through traffic. Contractors preparing the subgrade discovered a significant amount of black dirt under the pavement. Great for growing tomatoes, but not great for driving on. The soil type is also what has made this area difficult to navigate after recent rainfall over the weekend. It also means driving through the area should be avoided whenever possible during this phase after rain until the soils can be dug out and replaced with better base.
Contractors have notified residents who live in this area of their routes to get in and out of their properties, but others should not come through here for now.
