8/31/26 - Due to rainy weather conditions and lightning in the area, we are on a lightning hold until further notice. Please expect possible delays as we work to ensure all students are dismissed safely and efficiently.

Parents picking up students should follow normal car rider procedures and remain patient as traffic may move more slowly than usual.

Students who are walkers/bike riders or bus riders will be held until we are cleared from the lightning hold and movement on/off campus is safe.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us maintain a safe dismissal process.

🎲 Game Day at Lakeview Elementary! 🎲

Our cafeteria was filled with smiles, laughter, and friendly competition as students enjoyed Game Day! Students earned their spot by either bringing cash to participate or by receiving a Positive Referral for demonstrating outstanding behavior.

At Lakeview, we love celebrating students who make positive choices each day. Whether they’re in the classroom, cafeteria, hallways, playground, or anywhere on campus, we encourage our Dolphins to show respect, responsibility, and kindness wherever they go.

Events like these help motivate students to continue making great choices while creating fun memories with friends. Keep up the amazing work, Dolphins—we love seeing your positive behavior shine! 💙🐬

SWEET SUPPORTER, THURSDAY!

Our Lakeview family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Outback Steakhouse for their continued generosity and support. From treating our teachers to a delicious back-to-school meal to providing free Joey Meals for our Student of the Month recipients, their partnership helps make our school community even stronger.

Come join the Lakeview Elementary Cross Country Team and discover how much fun running, exercising, and working as a team can be!
✅ BEFORE TRYOUTS
Parents must complete ALL required athletic forms in Aktivate before students can participate in tryouts.
📱 Go to: www.aktivate.com and click on Register my Athlete.

Students must be picked up at the car loop by the cafeteria (off Robinson Street) after tryouts.
✅ Parents should remain in their vehicles.
Parents may not attend tryouts.

Students will be notified after tryouts.

🐬 Support Staff of the Year – Venancio DeJesus

Mr. DeJesus is the definition of dedication and teamwork. Whether it’s cleaning up a spill that no one else wants to tackle, helping move furniture, or stepping in wherever he is needed, he never hesitates to lend a hand. His strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to our school do not go unnoticed. We are grateful for all he does to help keep Lakeview running smoothly each and every day.

🐬 Teacher of the Year – Mrs. Sherry Thomas

Mrs. Thomas brings learning to life for her first-grade students through creativity, innovation, and a genuine love for teaching. She creates a classroom where students feel excited to learn, grow, and succeed. Loved by both current and former students, Mrs. Thomas leaves a lasting impact on every child who walks through her classroom doors. She is also a valued team player who works collaboratively with her colleagues and administration, always willing to support those around her. Her dedication, professionalism, and countless efforts often happen behind the scenes, but they certainly do not go unnoticed.
