Clear snow and ice from your home's exterior vents, exhaust and intake pipes, and gas meter!

This will prevent carbon monoxide buildup and your systems failing.

➡️ Use a soft broom or your hands to remove snow. Avoid hitting the pipes with a shovel, which can crack them.

Blizzard update: SFPD is aware of the power outages throughout the city, and WE Energies crews are actively out working to restore power. Road conditions are not optimal currently, so please give the storm time to blow over and allow crews to clear roads before you drive if possible. Officers will continue to monitor the conditions and provide assistance to citizens if needed. Stay warm!

Happy Wednesday Saint Francis! Last night, third shift officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for the registered owner having no driver's license at about 3AM. A small bag of suspected ma*****na was seen in plain view, and a search was conducted of the vehicle. The search resulted in the location and seizure of approximately 340 grams of ma*****na, a digital scale, and baggies. A front seat passenger admitted to being the owner of the ma*****na and to being a dealer. He was arrested and transported to the Milwaukee County Jail. A second passenger was found to hold a valid body-only Milwaukee County warrant and was also transported to the jail.

On 01/28/2026 at around 1:00am, a third shift officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving 21mph over the posted speed limit and expired registration. The driver denied any weapons being in the vehicle when asked. Officers established probable cause for a search due to the odor of ma*****na and located a loaded AR pistol concealed under clothing in the backseat. The 30-year-old driver was placed under arrest for a CCW violation. A bag of ma*****na was recovered from his underwear while a search of his person was being conducted. This stop outlines a small portion of the work that officers are constantly doing to keep the City of Saint Francis safe.
