On Saturday, August 8th, 2026 the USA Triathlon will take place with approximately 3,000 bicyclists traveling on streets in St. Francis as it has done in years past. The roads affected will be closed for the duration of the triathlon and may impact your ability to exit or enter your residence with your vehicle.

🌡️HEAT ADVISORY 🌡️

The US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan Wisconsin has issued a Heat Advisory beginning tomorrow at 12:00 PM through Wednesday at 8 PM. Heat index values could reach 100°F, creating dangerous conditions for everyone.

☀️ Take precautions to stay safe:
• Stay in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
• Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty.
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
• Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
• Check on older adults, neighbors, and those with medical conditions who may be more vulnerable to heat-related illness.
