Last Friday was National School Lunch Hero Day and we want to acknowledging our hardworking lunchroom staff! They work hard to prepare delicious meals for breakfast and lunch for our students. They offer yummy options and warm smiles and we are so grateful for their help supporting the whole child here at Bains! 🥗🍽️🌮🥪

West Feliciana Parish School District will provide FREE, healthy, nutritious meals for all children 18 and under every Monday during the month of June 2026.

We were thrilled to have our second graders participate in swim lessons again this year at the YMCA! Thanks to donations and the West Feliciana Education Foundation, we were able to keep costs at a minimum so all families could participate! Instructors assessed their level of familiarity with swimming and then put them in groups to practice skills. They also learned water safety through practicing how to help someone in distress while keeping themselves safe, how to properly wear a life jacket, and how to safely enter and exit a kayak/canoe. We are so grateful for everyone that made this valuable program possible! 🏊 (post 4)
