☀️ SUMMER DONATION DRIVE ☀️

As temperatures rise, many survivors arriving at DOVE Center are starting over with little more than the clothes they are wearing. You can help provide comfort, dignity, and a fresh start this summer.

We're currently seeking:
👕 New or gently used t-shirts and tank tops
🩳 New or gently used shorts
🛒 Walmart gift cards
🛒 Smith's gift cards

Gift cards help survivors purchase essentials, groceries, clothing, medications, and other immediate needs as they rebuild their lives.

Every donation makes a difference for individuals and families escaping domestic violence right here in Southern Utah.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at DOVE Center:
391 E 500 S, St. George, UT, 84770
⏰ Donation times: Tuedays and Thursdays from 9AM to 1PM
💜 Help us ensure survivors have the basics they need to feel safe, comfortable, and supported this summer.

!!!!VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!!!!

Our safe shelter has flooded, so we are having to move some furniture around today. We will need some help, but the more hands the quicker the task! Please make sure to fill out the google form below or it is in our bio on instagram!

🍽 Lunch will be provided for all volunteers!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: For the safety and confidentiality of our clients, the shelter location will ONLY be shared with those who complete the required Google Form. This also helps us ensure we have enough food for everyone.

💜 URGENT SHELTER NEED 💜

A recent plumbing issue has created unexpected expenses for DOVE Center's Emergency Shelter, and we need our community's help. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to ensure survivors of domestic violence and their children continue to have a safe place to stay during times of crisis.

Every dollar makes a difference. Whether you can give $5, $50, or simply share this post, your support helps provide safety, stability, and hope for families rebuilding their lives.

We are also accepting much-needed in-kind donations, including:
☀️ Summer clothing for adults and children
🛒 Grocery store gift cards (Smith's, Walmart, and other local retailers)
🧴 Toiletries and personal care items

When survivors arrive at our shelter, many come with little more than the clothes on their backs. Your generosity helps meet immediate needs while providing comfort and dignity during a difficult time.

Service Project Call 📣📣📣📣

We are looking for members to join us at SUHBA's annual Service Day on April 24! Join us in making a difference in our community 💙

Specialties needed:
- Electrician
- HVAC
- Landscaping
- Concrete
- We also welcome general volunteers—no specific skills required

We will be doing projects at DOVE Center, SG Childrens Museum, Washington County Children's Justice Center, Youth Futures, Because Animals Matter, Utah Food Bank, Doctors Volunteer Clinic of St. George and more.
