Teacher Appreciation Week is a time to recognize the lasting impact made inside classrooms, on campuses, and throughout our community. The care, patience, leadership, and dedication shown each day help shape an environment where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to succeed.

Dorchester School District Four is made stronger each day by the educators and staff members who invest their time, talent, and care into the lives of students. Through meaningful relationships, encouragement, and engaging learning experiences, they help students grow academically, socially, and personally.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we recognize the commitment and impact of the individuals who go above and beyond for children across our district. Their work reaches far beyond the classroom by supporting students, serving the community, and creating opportunities that help every child succeed.

🏆 LOWER STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Woodland High School Unified Track & Field team brought home the Lower State Championship Monday night at Fort Dorchester High School and they EARNED it!

After Friday's weather pushed the meet, our athletes showed up Monday ready to compete.

In just their third year as a program, this team went from 2nd place last year to CHAMPIONS this year. That's the Woodland way.

Huge congratulations to Coach Julia Drum, Coach Eddie Ford with assistance from Mr. Kiugu, your dedication to these incredible student athletes made this moment possible.

A special thank you to all of the parents and families who cheered these athletes on every step of the way. Your support means everything!

Hands-on learning meets serious fun this summer. STEM Camp for Kids is coming to St. George with activities like circuit wiring, epoxy molding, engineering projects, and more. Open to elementary and middle school students, June 8–12 from 9 AM to 3 PM, and it is completely free.

🎉 What a fun night! On Thursday, DD4 hosted a BINGO and Disney Trivia Night at Woodland Middle School for families across the district. Guests enjoyed pizza, snacks, and plenty of friendly competition. 🍕

Parents also got an overview of the SC READY process, making sure everyone left informed and confident heading into testing season.

Lots of smiles all around! It was a great night for our DD4 family!

The bleak weather could not dampen the excitement at Williams Memorial Elementary School! On Friday, kindergarteners led the way with signs and bubbles as community friends showed up BIG! Tow trucks, emergency vehicles, motorcycles, and more rolled through to kick off SCREADY testing season. The weather was chilly and wet, but the smiles were electric. See ALL the photos on the WMES page.
