Welcome Back, Dorchester Academy Raiders!

The St. George Police Department would like to welcome all of the students, teachers, staff, and families of Dorchester Academy back for another great school year!

We are also proud to introduce Officer Pirkel, who will be serving as Dorchester Academy’s new School Resource Officer (SRO).

Officer Pirkel is excited to join the Raider family and looks forward to getting to know the students, staff, and parents while helping maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment on campus.

Being an SRO is about much more than law enforcement. It is about building relationships, earning trust, mentoring students, and being a familiar face they know they can turn to when they need help.

The St. George Police Department is proud to welcome Officer Jonathan Brown to our department and our law enforcement family.

Officer Brown was officially sworn in with his lovely wife standing proudly by his side, making the ceremony even more meaningful. We are grateful that they were able to share this special moment together.

Beginning a new chapter in public service is a commitment made not only by the officer, but also by the family members who support them along the way. We sincerely welcome Officer Brown and his wife to the SGPD family and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our department and the community we are honored to serve.
