That’s a wrap! We ended summer reading with a drive in movie. Kids made boxes into cars, we ordered pizza, and we watched Ice Age from our make shift cars!

What an amazing summer! We are so grateful for our amazing donors that made this year’s program possible. We loved meeting new families and connecting with our regulars each week! You are the reason we do what we do.

Today's the day! Bring a box that's just the right size for your child to sit in, and we'll take care of the rest. Together, we'll turn that box into a car, plane, or anything they imagine. We're thrilled to celebrate the end of summer with our drive-in and pizza party.

Who knew science could be this cool? A mad scientist stopped by to teach us chemistry, physics, and a little Harry Potter. The last summer reading program is on Wednesday: a drive-in movie. Stop by the library to pick up your free movie ticket.

No music on this week’s video. The kids' laughter, oohs, and aahs are much better than any song we could find.

Don't forget to pick up your free movie ticket for the Drive-in Movie! Our last summer reading program will be on Wed. July 22 at 10:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:30 pm. We will be making cars out of boxes and watching Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs while we much on pizza. Mmm...

This is a ticketed event and children will need a ticket to attend.

Special thanks to The Home Depot for bringing the Kids Workshop to the library this week. The kids loved using tools and building a project to take home.

Summer is flying by at the Washington County Library - Santa Clara Branch. This week we had a block party with screen-free Minecraft activities, including games like Pin the Nose on the Pig and Minecraft mini golf, finding resources, and digging for diamonds. It was great fun. Next week, Home Depot will be here with a building project for kids to make.
