Get ready for an adventure on the Ashley River! Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026 Ashley River Adventure Race, happening Saturday, November 14 at 11:30 a.m. at Ashley River Park!

Start with a 5K +/- trail run through beautiful Ashley River Park, then take to the water for a 7-mile paddle down the Ashley River in your kayak or on a stand-up paddleboard. Cross the finish line and stick around for the post-race party featuring food, beverages and awards!

Want to join the fun without doing the entire race? You’ve got options! 🙌

Join us on September 16th from 10–11 AM for a special visit from the South Carolina Aquarium! Participants will get the chance to explore and learn about the amazing creatures and ecosystems that connect South Carolina’s mountains all the way to the sea.

It’s a fun, hands-on learning experience for the whole family—and you won’t want to miss it!

September 12th at Ashley River Park we are showing Hoppers! The movie will start around 7:30 PM.

October 3rd at Davis Bailey Park in St. George, SC we are showing Toy Story 5!
The movie will start around 7:00 PM.

Calling all book lovers! The Park Pages Collective is a new book club series bringing good books, great conversations, and a little time outdoors together.

Our first book is Main Characters by Bobby Palmer, and we’ll meet at Ashley River Park on September 16 from 6–8 PM for our first discussion.

And there’s more! At the September meeting, the group will choose the book they’ll read for October, so you’ll have a say in what comes next.
