We are postponing the America First Performing Arts Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony due to delays that resulted from the widespread power outage affecting Southern Utah.

To properly honor the community collaboration that is enriching the cultural landscape of Southern Utah and celebrate America First Credit Union and all our community partners, the ribbon cutting ceremony will now take place immediately before “Raise the Curtain: An Opening Night Celebration” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the combined concert and ribbon cutting are available at utahtechlive.org (at the link in our bio).

Our goal is to celebrate the people whose vision, generosity, and partnership made the renovation and expansion of America First Performing Arts Center possible. Thank you for your understanding as we celebrate this exciting new chapter for our institution and the Southern Utah community.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Bob Tibbitts on his new role with our Police Department! 💙❤️

Captain Tibbitts was recently sworn in as Captain and Deputy Director of Public Safety, bringing more than 18 years of diverse public safety experience to our campus community. Throughout his career with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Springdale Police Department and Hurricane City Police Department, he has built a strong record of leadership, officer development, community safety and service.

We’re excited to welcome Captain Tibbitts to our Trailblazer family and look forward to the experience and leadership he’ll bring to our campus and community. Congratulations, Captain Tibbitts! 👏

We also want to congratulate Sergeant Mike Peacock and Corporal Krystal Allred on their rank advancements! Thank you for your continued dedication to serving and protecting our campus community. We’re grateful to have you on our team!
