School Picture Day is coming up next week on Thursday, September 10th! ✨ Get those smiles ready and come dressed for the occasion—your photo will be featured in this year's yearbook!

📷 All students will have their picture taken, but prints must be ordered.

💻 Order online: www.bellphoto.com No need to send the envelope back! Prepay online at Bell Photographers using code DVESWCSDFall2627.

✉️ Paper orders: Complete the envelope and return it with cash or a check on Picture Day. Please make checks payable to Bell Photographers. The photographer cannot provide change.

🎨💻📚 Our First Week of Specials!

Specials started this week, and our Diamondbacks are ready for a great year! They started Library with Mrs. Tanner, Computers with Ms. Ashley and Art with Ms. Aspen.

During their first classes, students got to know their teachers, and after going over rules and expectations, they learned about all the exciting things they can look forward to this year. In Library, students got to check out a book! 📚 In Art, they learned which artist they will explore first. 🎨 And in Computers, students got familiar with the computer lab and what they’ll be learning this year. 💻

We can’t wait to see all the creating, discovering, and learning our Diamondbacks do this year! 💚🐍

📢 Early Dismissal Reminder This Thursday and Friday!

All K–5 students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28.

These are our Elementary Diagnostic Assessment Days.

Students will eat lunch before they leave, and students who normally ride the bus will be able to ride the bus home at noon on both days.

Please make sure you have a plan for your student’s early dismissal. Thank you for your help and support! 💚
