Today's gratitude goes out to Emergency Geek, Mid-Michigan Library League and Potterville-Benton Township District Library.
Thanks to a mini grant from MMLL we were able to update two of our computers to be compatible with the latest updates to Windows. (We'll get to the third one soon...)
The amazing Emergency Geek (Cory Walker) installed them today, and also helped us swap out our old workstations for these hand-me-downs from Potterville Library which offer our patrons a little more privacy.
These computers run a free software called LibreOffice instead of Microsoft Office, so it's set up a little different but has the same capabilities. We will still have MS Office on the third, for people who need that specific software or are just more comfortable with it.

Hope to see you all at the Summer Kick Off this Saturday!

For our Libby users: If you get the error message that your card is unable to be validated and to contact your library, most of the time it just needs to be renewed.

The automation system we use sets memberships to expire periodically so we can confirm that we have current contact information. Just call or email us, it only takes a moment to fix.

You should also be able to renew it yourself online, by logging in to the "my account" section on the top right hand corner of our catalog page at https://richfieldtpl.biblionix.com/catalog/

While there is a spot to set a password, you can ignore that field entirely and just put in your member number. Hope this helps!
