Thank you for the professionalism, dedication, and support you've provided over the years. Through pursuits, major incidents, and critical calls, you have always been a dependable voice on the radio, and your commitment to keeping everyone safe has never gone unnoticed.

Although we'll miss hearing your voice on the radio, we're grateful for the years of service and support you've given to the law enforcement community. Wishing you all the very best as you begin this new chapter. Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for everything.

Today we recognize and celebrate the retirement of Elizabeth "Lee-Ann" Crowe after more than 21 years of dedicated public safety service.

Lee-Ann began her career in public safety as a Records Clerk with the Napa County Sheriff's Office before joining the Napa Police Department Dispatch Center as a Public Safety Dispatcher in June 2005. She was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in June 2010.

Throughout her career, Lee-Ann served in a variety of leadership and operational roles that helped shape the success of our Communications Center. She served for many years as our Fire Incident Dispatch Team Coordinator, ensuring a team of dispatchers were prepared to support units during critical fire incidents. She also served as both a Dispatch Training Officer and Dispatch Training Coordinator, mentoring new dispatchers while overseeing the complexities of the training program. In addition, she rotated through several operational assignments, including overseeing scheduling, coordinating equipment and supply ordering, and managing numerous behind-the-scenes responsibilities that helped keep the Communications Center operating smoothly while supporting the employees she supervised.

Lee-Ann's knowledge, dedication, and years of service have left a lasting impact on our Communications Center, the community, and the many employees she worked alongside and mentored throughout her career.

Please join us in thanking Lee-Ann for her years of dedicated service and wishing her all the best in her well-earned retirement.

🚨Public Assistance Requested🚨

On June 11, 2026, at approximately 12:30 a.m., two individuals damaged a Pride banner at Napa Valley Vintage Homes, 1201 Main Street, in St. Helena.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male in his early twenties, wearing black clothing. Suspect #2 had his face obscured by a hooded sweatshirt and cloth covering but is believed to be a heavier-set white male.

The St. Helena Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying the individuals involved. If you recognize this suspect or have information regarding this incident, please contact Officer Martinez at (707) 967-2850.

Anonymous tips are welcome.

El 11 de junio de 2026, aproximadamente a las 12:30 a.m., dos individuos dañaron una bandera del Orgullo (Pride) ubicada en Napa Valley Vintage Homes, en 1201 Main Street, en St. Helena.

El Sospechoso #1 es descrito como un hombre blanco de aproximadamente veinte años de edad, vestido completamente de negro. El Sospechoso #2 tenía el rostro cubierto con una sudadera con capucha y una tela que ocultaba su identidad, pero se cree que es un hombre blanco de complexión robusta.

El Departamento de Policía de St. Helena solicita la ayuda del público para identificar a las personas involucradas. Si reconoce a este sospechoso o tiene información relacionada con este incidente, comuníquese con el Oficial Martinez al (707) 967-2850.

We are happy to share that the puppy's foster family has decided to officially adopt her! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who shared the original post and helped us search for the owner. Since no owner was located, this sweet pup has now found a loving forever home.

We appreciate the community's support in helping ensure a positive outcome for this little one. 🐶🏡

🏳️‍🌈 A Symbol of Inclusion: St. Helena Raises the Pride Flag

In recognition of Pride Month, Officer Ray had the honor of assisting Mayor Dohring in raising the Pride Flag at St. Helena City Hall yesterday.

The St. Helena Police Department is committed to serving every member of our community with professionalism, dignity, and respect. As part of that commitment, all St. Helena Police Officers have completed LGBTQ Awareness for Law Enforcement and Hate Crimes Investigations training through Out to Protect, an organization dedicated to providing education and support for law enforcement professionals.

This training helps ensure our officers are equipped to understand, engage with, and meet the needs of all individuals in our community while fostering trust, inclusion, and public safety for everyone.

The Pride Flag serves as a visible reminder that St. Helena is a community where all people are valued and respected. We are proud to stand alongside our residents in recognizing the diversity that strengthens our city.

En reconocimiento del Mes del Orgullo, el Oficial Ray tuvo el honor de asistir a la Alcaldesa Dohring en el izamiento de la Bandera del Orgullo en el Ayuntamiento de St. Helena.

El Departamento de Policía de St. Helena está comprometido a servir a cada miembro de nuestra comunidad con profesionalismo, dignidad y respeto. Como parte de ese compromiso, todos los oficiales del Departamento de Policía de St. Helena han completado la capacitación sobre Concientización LGBTQ+ para las Fuerzas del Orden e Investigación de Delitos de Odio, impartida por Out to Protect, una organización dedicada a brindar educación y apoyo a los profesionales de las fuerzas del orden.

Esta capacitación ayuda a garantizar que nuestros oficiales estén preparados para comprender, interactuar y responder a las necesidades de todas las personas de nuestra comunidad, fomentando al mismo tiempo la confianza, la inclusión y la seguridad pública para todos.

From Recruits to Ready: Congratulations Academy Class 219!

Officer Jesus Martinez and Officer Christian Chiprez graduated today from the Santa Rosa Basic Police Academy (BPA) Class 219.

Beginning on January 5th, Officers Martinez and Chiprez completed six months of intensive academy training focused on criminal law, patrol procedures, report writing, defensive tactics, fi****ms training, emergency vehicle operations, physical fitness, and scenario-based learning designed to prepare them for a career in law enforcement.

The graduates will now begin the next phase of their training: a 16-week in-house Field Training Program. During Field Training, new officers work side-by-side with experienced Field Training Officers (FTOs) to apply their academy training in real-world situations while serving the community.

Congratulations to Officer Martinez and Officer Chiprez on this outstanding accomplishment and the beginning of their law enforcement careers with the St. Helena Police Department!

“De Reclutas a Listos para Servir: ¡Felicidades Academia Clase 219!”

El Oficial Jesus Martinez y el Oficial Christian Chiprez se graduaron hoy de la Academia Básica de Policía (BPA) Clase 219 de Santa Rosa.

Comenzando el 5 de enero, los Oficiales Martinez y Chiprez completaron seis meses de entrenamiento intensivo enfocado en derecho penal, procedimientos de patrullaje, redacción de reportes, tácticas defensivas, entrenamiento con armas de fuego, manejo de vehículos de emergencia, acondicionamiento físico y escenarios prácticos diseñados para prepararlos para una carrera en las fuerzas del orden.

Los graduados ahora comenzarán la siguiente fase de su entrenamiento: un Programa Interno de Entrenamiento de Campo de 16 semanas. Durante este entrenamiento, los nuevos oficiales trabajan junto a Oficiales de Entrenamiento de Campo (FTOs) con experiencia para aplicar lo aprendido en la academia en situaciones reales mientras sirven a la comunidad.

¡Felicitaciones al Oficial Martinez y al Oficial Chiprez por este gran logro y por el comienzo de sus carreras en las fuerzas del orden con el Departamento de Policía de St. Helena!
