UpValley Partnership for Youth

UpValley Partnership for Youth UpValley Partnership for Youth is a drug free coalition coordinated by UpValley Family Centers, aiming to reduce substance use among Napa County youth. Helena.

The UpValley Partnership for Youth arose in response to the clear community need for an effective approach to youth substance abuse prevention in Northern Napa County. Napa County Office of Education and UpValley Family Centers partnered together to form UVPY along with local school, government and nonprofit organizations. We aim to support families and the community in order to: 1) Increase famil

y engagement, family-strengthening, and parent leadership; 2) ensure communication across partners to facilitate work together on common goals; and 3) maximize and leverage resources to address identified unmet needs. This group of over 15 partner organizations and parents is engaged in a range of initiatives designed to approach prevention from a holistic, family perspective. The UpValley Partnership for Youth itself is housed at the UpValley Family Centers. The UpValley Family centers is uniquely positioned to serve the needs of families in the rural upper valley of Napa County, with centers in Calistoga and St.Helena. We meet monthly alternating between the cities of Calistoga and St. We encourage any interested members to attend one of our monthly meetings to learn more about UVPY.
